Australian War Memorial
As part of my studies with Billy Blue College of Design, students were required to choose a museum and re-design the logo according to the specification set out in the brief.
I chose the Australian War Memorial, and this design drove my lecturer to tears. The design is simple, yet timeless and encompasses the Flanders poppy, the symbol of war as well as mate-ship.
Found growing in the fields of Northern France, my research led me to use this beautiful flower to convey the message of hope.
